A fun way to cut down on sibling rivalry. Cut out the candy jar and cards.
Start out by placing ten candy cards on the jar chart. Use glue tack or plastify the chart and use tape.
Explain to the kids that those candies are theirs, but each time they argue or fight you will take one candy away, regardless of who was at fault.
It will help cut back on the finger pointing and you may find that kids are willing to try to resolve things on their own instead of coming to you with tattling. But if the children find a solution together and work things out in a kind way, you can ADD a candy to the jar.
At the end of the week count out the candies and divide them between all the kids (if there is an uneven number, add in a bonus candy).
Children can decide together to either exchange them for a real snack treat, or with pocket money or a special outing.
