Cut out the cards then place them in a decorated container.
Have children pick a card whenever they need to practice some patience.
Read the word and discuss together what it means.
Then have your child think of a sentence that includes the word in it.
Or they can give an example of that word in a situation that involves patience.
It can be related or unrelated to the situation the child is facing.
This can be a fun and helpful way for children to internalize what the words mean.
