Option 1: Cut out the paper strips and link them together to form a paper chain, using glue, tape or staples.

Join as many links as there are days until a special event you are waiting for.

Hang the decoration as a reminder of patience.

Remove one link per day and follow the instructions on the strip of paper.

Option 2: Cut and place the strips in a jar or basket, and have your child pick one to implement while keeping busy and waiting cheerfully.
