Cut out the cards and place them in a decorated jar or box, available to use whenever you need a quick “pick me up” word for someone else.
Sometimes a brother or sister or parent is sad or has a lot on their mind.
Just a simple loving word could make their day. If you don’t know what to say, take a card from this jar, fill in the blanks if needed, and say it to them.
Or take a card (with a complete sentence) and find an original place to leave it for them as a surprise.
Use the blank cards to write out some of your own loving words that you want to say to someone. Soon enough, your home will have a loving atmosphere of kind words.
These cards also work well after your children have had a quarrel. Let them each pick a card and read it out to each other, as a way to help make things right again.
